EHR & The Elephant and Castle Sponsored Walk

Walk from Elsecar to Cortonwood along the Trans-Pennine Trail in aid of the Level Crossing Appeal

Join us on Sunday 5th August 2012 to help raise money to construct the Elsecar Heritage Railway station at Hemingfield. We will begin the day with a sponsored walk along the Trans-Pennine trail, and then back to the Elephant and Castle where tea, coffee, juices and a food will be available. All walkers will receive a free steam train ride on return to Elsecar. For a sponsorship form, please email or telephone the railway on 01226 746746, and we will send a form out to you.

This event is being organised by the Elephant & Castle, Hemingfield. The Elephant and Castle is located adjacent to the proposed future Halt of the Elsecar Heritage Railway at Hemingfield. For more information about the Elephant & Castle, please click here.
